Snaps Photo Services is a family run photographic laboratory based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Supplying all forms of photo processing, from traditional film processing to prints from digital media. Snaps Photos has been established since 1987 when the fledgeling company was formaed to provide commercial and social photographic services, soon to move into photo processing being only the second photo lab to open in Bournemouth Town Centre in 1990. Providing photo services to professional, amateur and hobby photographers alike. In 1993 we had to move to different premises because of a major fire in the property above our lab causing major disruption to all concerned. In 2000 we moved out of the Town Centre being able to purchase our own building which is where we have operated from since.
We pride ourselves on the services that we provide ensuring the same care and attention to each and every customer that we supply from the largest of companies to the individual person from professional services to photographers to the general public and our comitment to film processing is as strong now as it has ever been, still printing black & white images in our hand print section be traditional dish methods and we are now one of the only E-6 slide film processors left in Dorset.
We use Fuji paper and chemistry in all of our processes, monitored to ensure consistency along with our continued use of Noritsu machines which has been the case since the company was formed.
